In the first 6 minutes of the game, Portugal got a penalty. When Patrick Dorku fouled Cristiano Ronaldo and “CR 7” took the shot himself, but unfortunately it was save by Kasper Schmeichel.

In the second half, in the 56th minute, Denmark equalized 1-1. Christian Eriksen had a second shot that was block. It was a corner kick that Christensen headed alone. But the ball came back to the near post, making it 1-1.

But in the 72nd minute, Portugal took the lead again, making it 2-1. Bruno Fernandes took a long shot past Schmeichel, hitting the post and bouncing out. Cristiano Ronaldo was quick to follow up and score from a tight angle. 

Portugal were delight for 4 minutes when Denmark drew 2-2. Ruben Dias made a mistake and is intercept by Mika Bireth. Dorku dragged the ball into the left side of the penalty area before passing it to Christian Eriksen who made a close-range shot. 

With four minutes remaining, Portugal secured their desired 3-2 goal. Kasper Schmeichel punched the ball away poorly and Nuno Mendes set it up for Francisco Trincao to blast a left-footed shot into the net, making it 3-3 on aggregate and forcing extra time. 

In the first minute of extra time, Portugal extended their lead to 4-2. Gonzalo Ramos shot but was save by Schmeichel. The ball bounced out and Francisco Trincao followed up with a tap-in at the goal post. 

Then in the 115th minute, Portugal scored another goal to make it 5-2.
